my beloved tattoo done 2009 by lenny at east street tattoo, sthlm, sweden. the tattoo fits my personality quite well and its kind of a statement of the person ive become.
I got this tattoo on my shin last summer, it’s a tribute to my mom who collects everything about lighthouses. I’ve been sailing for my whole life and all my tattoos are sea-related.
It’s done by Johan at Hollandsch Glorie Tattoo from Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He’s an amazing and really creative guy! He has done all of my tattoos since I’ve met him.
This is my Creepy Ballerina Marionette, an illustration by Jean Ignace Isidore Gerard, that appeared on the inlay of Alice in Chains’ self-titled album. It’s my seventh tattoo and was created by the incredible Roey Pentagram, at Pentgram Tattoo, Tel-Aviv, Israel.
The idea behind it is quite self-explanatory. The idea of distorting oneself to match what is perceived as society’s standards is something almost anyone can relate to. I’d been staring at this illustration for years [while listening to Alice in Chains], and I knew I had to get it tattooed.
Just paying homage to the best cat I know, hello kitty! Courtesy of my wonderful boyfriend. Located on the inside of my calf. Slinging Ink, Island Park, NY.
